Neorouter and verizon 64 Bit#

(1) Internet Explorer and Firefox when clicked DO NOT START until the connection icon shows that internet is connected. I say above no internet AND also other problems. (EXACTLY THE WAY IT IS ABOVE with spaces and quote symbols) and you will see MANY MANY matches and MANY people saying in forums that they have the EXACT problem right down to the 2 -3 minute wait. This is a widespread (not niche) problem. Also on my customer laptop it occurs about 95% of the boots but not all the boots, occasionally it does NOT happen.

The problem is after the PC boots to the desktop, a small blue circle is over the Win 7 connection icon in the lower right status bar and REMAINS THERE for 2 -3 minutes during which you have no internet PLUS other things (see below) also do not work. And (see below) happens on many brands of PCs not just Sony. None of the HW models is relevant because the problem happens with ONLY wireless enabled OR only ethernet enabled OR both enabled. Relevant Hardware is Intel i7 cpu chip, Intel Centrino Adv-N 6230 (Wireless) and Realtek PCIe GBF Family controller (ethernet).

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS SP1 (fully updated) on Sony VPCZ21SHX (VPCZ2 family) which is a super high end laptop that lists at $4,500 (REALLY !!). I fix PCs for a living this is for my customer.
